Digisol Modem Configuration — Step by Step
The exact menu names can vary by Digisol model and firmware, but the common GPON/ONT setup is:
1. Connect to the Digisol Modem
- Connect your phone or PC to the modem using Wi-Fi or LAN cable.
- Keep the fiber cable connected.
2. Open the Login Page
Open Chrome and enter the modem's gateway IP, commonly:
192.168.1.1
Then press Enter.
3. Login
Enter the admin username and password provided by your ISP.
The default login is not necessarily the same on every Digisol model, so check the modem label or ISP details.
4. Configure Internet / WAN
Go to:
Network → WAN
or Network → WAN Connection
Select/create the required WAN connection.
For a common PPPoE connection:
- Mode: Route
- Connection Type: PPPoE
- Username: ISP PPPoE username
- Password: ISP PPPoE password
- VLAN ID: Enter the VLAN ID provided by your ISP, if required
- NAT: Enable
Click Apply/Save.
5. Configure Wi-Fi Name
Go to:
WLAN → Basic / SSID Settings
Find SSID / Network Name.
Example:
DIGISOL_FIBER
Enter your desired Wi-Fi name and click Apply.
6. Configure Wi-Fi Password
Go to:
WLAN → Security
Set:
- Security: WPA2-PSK, or WPA2/WPA3 if available
- Encryption: AES
- Pre-Shared Key: Your desired Wi-Fi password
Click Apply/Save.
7. Configure 2.4 GHz / 5 GHz
If your Digisol model supports dual-band Wi-Fi, configure both bands:
WLAN → 2.4G
WLAN → 5G
You can use the same SSID/password for both or separate names.
8. Check LAN & DHCP
Go to:
Network → LAN → DHCP
For normal home-router operation:
- DHCP Server: Enable
- NAT: Enable
Avoid changing the LAN IP unless necessary.
9. Check the Internet
Open:
Status → WAN / Network Status
Check that:
- PON: Up/Registered
- WAN: Connected
- Internet IP: Assigned
Then reconnect your phone to the new Wi-Fi and test the internet.
Important GPON Settings
Do not change these randomly:
- GPON/ONT Serial Number
- LOID
- PLOAM Password
- VLAN ID
- OMCI settings
These may be required by your ISP for fiber authentication.
Configuration Flow
OLT → Fiber → Digisol GPON/ONT → WAN/PPPoE → Internet
WLAN → SSID → Security → Wi-Fi Password
If you give me the exact Digisol model number (for example, DG-GR1320G), I can give you the exact menu-by-menu settings for that model.
